More you might like
new balance
most of us are angry
most of us are strangely
more alike than we’d like to believe
most of us are empty
most of us are simply
more alive in the scenes of our dreams
then there’s you
you’ve got something
I’ve been wanting
you’re so new
you’re my salvage
you’re my balance
you’re so new
most of us are hurting
most of us are searching
someone to love
someone to understand
most the time i’m fighting
multiple voices residing
in my head
then there’s you
you bring silence
to my violent truth
you’re my salvage
you’re my balance
you’re so new
it hit me like a tidal wave
knew that i was in love with you right away
turned all my days into brighter days
even when people say what we do is not ok
according to what the people say
who cares what other people say
man fuck what other people say
i'mma ride for you
baby if you gon ride for me
cuz i know
that what we share is real
and I feel so confident in
all you say
when you say
you’ll never leave
you’ll never leave
please never leave
yea, i believe you
most of all
i am thankful
you are just what i prayed for
you are what i was made for
yes, im for sure
most of all
i just want to mean the most to you
most of all baby im just tryna grow with you
i just wanna go with you
cuz you bring so much hope to the picture
some of us do find the one
to fall in love
and off of the
fucking face of the earth with
some of us DO deserve it
a love thats true and perfect
some of us been through it all before
some of us do still come back for more…..

Isn’t it weird that in 20 years some of us could be married, some of us could be famous and some of us could be dead.
a random Black American: real Africans dont even like us black Americans
a random African: 😂😂😂 it’s the other way around!! Akatas dont like us.
another random African in response: has she been called African Booty Scratcher? Yeah not true
I think that’s there’s something genuinely disheartening about our generations exchange in the diaspora. We have access to social media which allows us to get a bit of grasp of interculture within the diaspora that debunks what we were taught as children. First off, lol Akata is derogatory as fuck so how on Earth would it make sense to name call and say it’s the other way around.
It’s tough to discuss childhood experiences without dismissing one’s experience. What I can say, it’s important to heal. I heard african booty scratcher as a diss and i grew up around ZERO african immigrants. Yall really punishing adults because of what they said as an ignorant kid? Sheesh.
keep it between us.
to see myself with no one else.
no never. no never.
i can make it through, the worse with you
so whatever. so whatever.
not a thing in this world. i wont give up
cant live in this world. if im not next to you.
so dont give your love away && i wont give my love away.
just keep it between us.

I hate that some people are so dense that they need disclaimers for every single thing, like when women say “men are…” you know good and goddamn well they aren’t referring to every single man. It’s billions of us, how the fuck would they know all of us?
Whenever I hear these statements, I interpret it as “Not all men, but enough men to make this a prominent issue amongst men”
Same shit with “white people are…” Get the fuck out your feelings and actually listen so you can address the concerns of these people instead of defending people that ain’t shit.
and then those same people will go and say things like “women are…” and “black people are…”
